Release 3.9

The Avaya Breeze Platform Release 3.9 was made generally available in January 2024. This is the latest release of the Avaya Breeze Platform and is recommended for new development.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for the Avaya Breeze platform and selected snap-ins as stand-alone products. The Avaya Oceana Solution still depends on Avaya Breeze; therefore, the Avaya Oceana Solution offer includes Avaya Breeze, Context Store, Co-browsing, and Engagement Designer. Support for these components will continue as part of the Avaya Oceana Solution.

New in Release 3.9

Avaya Breeze 3.9 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for Avaya Aura Media Server R10.1.
  • New underlying operating system changed to Red Hat Linux 8.7 with 2Gb increase in minimum RAM requirements.
  • Support for TLS v1.3.
  • Upgrades using the OVA reinstallation (method 1) can restore the existing cluster database from backup after upgrade.
  • New overload warning alarms to indicate when a server is getting close to an overload alarm condition.
  • Discontinued support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) installations.
