Latest Release: 10.1.2 (June 2023)

Release 8.1.3

Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise 8.1.3 was made generally available in August 2021. Service Pack 2 (Release 8.1.3.2) was issued in September 2022. This is NOT the latest release of Avaya SBCE. The latest release is recommended for new development.

Important The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced:
  • End of sale: December 13, 2021
  • End of support: March 6, 2023
Additional information about the end of sale and end of support dates can be found here. For all new development, Avaya recommends that developers use the latest release of Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise.

Features in the new release

Avaya SBCE 8.1.3 includes the following new and enhanced features and more:

  • Support for Avaya OneCloud Private managed service offer, acting as an edge friendly gateway providing media access to the One Cloud Private core
  • Support for AMR (narrowband) and AMR-WB (wideband) transcoding
  • Added MediaSec support in accordance with 1TR119
  • RTCP-Mon Enhancements to include UCID in Priv Type to enable unique identifier across calls
  • Small Foot-Print Support on VMWARE
