DevConnect supports application development using the following Avaya Aura System Manager interfaces:
The User Management API comprises RESTful Web services that enable custom clients to provision users in System Manager. The Web services were originally introduced in System Manager Release 6.3, as part of Avaya Aura Release 6.2 Feature Pack 1
The Routing API comprises a RESTful Web service that enables custom clients to add, modify and delete routing administration data in System Manager. The Web service was originally introduced in System Manager Release 6.3.8, as part of Avaya Aura Release 6.2 Feature Pack 4.
Avaya Aura System Manager supports Geographic Redundancy, a resiliency feature for primary System Manager server failure or partial data network connectivity loss. The Geographic Redundancy REST Web Services were introduced in System Manager release 10.1, and are used to trigger Geographic Redundancy workflows and to fetch Geographic Redundancy health information.
Avaya Aura Session Manager supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Administrators can download a zip archive file containing the definitions of SNMP MIBs (Management Information Bases), alarm traps, and informs that are supported by Session Manager. SNMP MIBs can be used by Network Management Systems (NMS) supporting any version of Session Manager. For example, MIBs downloaded from a Session Manager 6.3.2 Element Manager can be used by an NMS supporting Session Manager 6.2.
